Africa

We grow African governments' digital capability so they can leverage digital and data for public service delivery.

We support governments throughout their digital transformation journeys, focussing on enhancing public service delivery and strengthening local digital ecosystems and capability.

We build and coach government digital teams that deliver human-centred services at scale.

We also help create the conditions for the sustainable adoption of Digital Public Infrastructure, enabling the growth of local digital economies.

Our regional headquarters is in Nigeria, with experts based across 8 African countries. This lets us combine a global perspective on public service transformation with a deep and nuanced understanding of local contexts.

Our team

Our team includes expert practitioners who have worked extensively in African governments, international governments and the private sector to transform services and ways of working.

Our work in Africa started in 2019, where we supported the creation of a central Digital Governance Unit in Madagascar.

Since then, we've worked in Ethiopia, Ghana, Madagascar, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, and Tunisia - both reforming or building new government institutions and transforming public service delivery.

What we do

  1. 1

We train, mentor, coach and develop senior public servants in digital ways of working and support them to build momentum for change.

  2. 2

We assess the digital readiness of national and sub-national governments to inform actionable roadmaps to accelerate transformation.

  3. 3

We provide hands-on support to public sector digital teams throughout the lifecycle of digital service development.

  4. 4

We empower leaders to build and adopt human-centred Digital Public Infrastructure for at-scale public services.
