Sechi is a Principal Consultant in our Global Impact Team.

She builds PD’s capability in strategy and research, working alongside global development organisations to position Public Digital as a thought leader on frontier areas including AI, DPI and the climate transition. An expert in both policy and implementation, her work helps to form a community of practice around engaging with these challenging topics.

Since joining Public Digital, Sechi has supported an engagement with UNDP helping a government in South Asia hire private sector digital talent, worked on an edition of Signals exploring sustainability in the digital realm, a high priority UK government engagement and is currently working on supporting a global institution implement its strategy.

Prior to Public Digital, Sechi was a Strategy Consultant at McKinsey and Company, where she worked on digital strategy and transformation projects across the public and private sector from national governments to consumer retail organisations. She was part of the UK Civil Service Project Delivery Fast Stream and worked on the Register Your Company Service part of the Making Tax Digital Program at HMRC and the Modern Slavery Statement Reporting Service at the Home Office.

She holds a Masters in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School, and an MSc in Development Economics. At Harvard, Sechi was a research assistant and teaching assistant for David Eaves. She published research with the Project of Digital Era Government and facilitated the course Disrupting Bureaucracy which explored digital transformation efforts of governments across the world.

As a woman of Indian heritage raised in the north of England who began her career in teaching, Sechi is intentional in ensuring that the inclusion of different perspectives is at the heart of both strategy setting and delivery.
