NEWS: Gurpreet Sehmi appointed Public Digital’s Head of Central Government

Senior Director Gurpreet Sehmi has been appointed as our Head of Central Government. In this role Gurpreet will lead on growing our work across the UK government sector, as well as managing a growing team of consultants working across the UK.

Gurpreet assumes the role from Dave Rogers, who has moved into a new role managing our relationship with our key client, HMRC, as their digital transformation partner.

This appointment comes only one year after Gurpreet joined Public Digital, after holding senior roles in consultancies and government, most recently with Digi2al Ltd, a digital transformation consultancy focused around defence and security. There, she led the user-centred design practice across clients in UK government, notably leading the partnership on a five-year, £100 million contract to deliver design, research and technical capabilities for the Royal Navy.

Since joining PD, Gurpreet has led complex transformation programmes across both local, national and international government - including at the Government Digital Service, the Financial Conduct Authority, the Local Government Association and the Government of Barbados.
