Gonzalo is a Principal Consultant in PD’s Global Impact team, helping our clients design and deliver services by embedding user-centered design, modern delivery practices, and robust digital capabilities.

His expertise lies at the intersection of design strategy, service design, and organisational design. He focuses on building lasting capabilities within teams so they can continue to innovate independently, ensuring that digital transformation remains focused on real human needs, rather than simply implementing technology.

At PD, Gonzalo supports our work with Bloomberg Philanthropies, leveraging his skills in user-centred design to help shape services that are both impactful and scalable. He also works on governance and organisational design, helping public institutions define the structures, capabilities and policy enablers needed to deliver sustainable, user-centred transformation.

Prior to joining PD, Gonzalo led innovation across diverse sectors across Latin America and the US, including financial services, education and logistics. Most recently, he was Design Strategy Manager at Intercorp Education, where he was instrumental in establishing design capabilities from the ground up, guiding multidisciplinary teams through the development of digital products and user-centered services. He has also held design and product roles at Loadsmart, Innova Schools, and Scotiabank, where he had a proven track record of shaping organisational practices to better serve end-users while streamlining entrepreneurial ecosystems.

Beyond his consultancy work, Gonzalo serves as a continuous education teacher for topics such as strategic design and user experience, and he is a facilitator and mentor at the LSE’s center for entrepreneurship. He holds an MSc in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the London School of Economics.
