Public Digital has celebrated the commitment of the Dominican Republic’s government to rethink how services work for citizens.

At an event at the presidential palace in Santo Domingo, President Luis Abinader announced the launch of the country’s first fully digital and citizen-centred public service.

Permiso de Salida del Menor (permission to leave the country with a child) is a truly innovative digital service and a unique example of public institutions working together to make a complex process simpler, faster and less stressful for families.

It also represents a significant milestone in the Dominican Republic’s journey towards efficient, citizen-centric services, as part of its efforts to become the most digitally advanced country in Latin America.

We are honoured to be part of the incredible teams behind this transformation.
