Data Bites #60

Better outcomes for citizens rely on better use of data.

Across government, the public sector, and public purpose organisations, digital teams are transforming how they use data in order to more effectively serve the public.

Data Bites aims to spotlight this work, providing a space for practitioners in and around government - in digital professions and beyond - to explore the successes, learn from the challenges, and realise the impact that innovative uses of data can have on public services.

These monthly hybrid events originated at the Institute for Government. You can catch up on previous Public Digital Data Bites events here.

Data Bites #60 is on the Tuesday 18 November. Doors open at 5:30pm for a 6:00pm start

Speakers for this session are:

  • Stephanie Howarth, Chief Statistician, Welsh Government, on StatsWales reimagined: A journey of data, design and delivery
  • Penny Babb, Head of Policy & Standards, Office for Statistics Regulation, on the new Code of Practice for Statistics
