Stacey leads Public Digital’s UK and Europe practice, managing a varied portfolio of private and public sector engagements.
Stacey has a wide range of expertise across delivery, user-centred design, and strategy. She helps organisations create multidisciplinary teams and scale new ways of working, coaching leaders to create the right conditions for successful delivery.
She has a wealth of experience in central government both in the UK and internationally, as well as in the wider public sector including in higher education and at the BBC, and the private sector.
At Public Digital, Stacey worked with the Government of California to support them in building their first digital service team that went on to deliver a world-class Covid response. She worked with pharmaceutical company Moderna, leading a review of their digital maturity and helping them design new clinical trials service. She also trained a leadership team at ITV to help them adopt agile, iterative ways of working.
Working with the Open University, Stacey supported a major reset of student services. She provided coaching and advice to senior leaders, helping them to adopt a more service-led, user-centred and agile approach to delivering student support services.
Stacey supported pensions provider Phoenix Group to understand their digital maturity and build new digital teams capable of delivering high quality services for customers. She helped the group build staff confidence and capabilities in delivery, product and design, and remove roadblocks preventing teams from delivering on their goals.
Stacey is accustomed to being at the sharp end of transformation projects. Before joining Public Digital, she built her expertise in the UK Civil Service, where she played a crucial role in establishing and leading digital service teams for UK Government departments including the Department for Business and Trade, Crown Commercial Service, Home Office and Ofsted. Prior to this she was an early member of the technology team at the Government Digital Service (GDS).
