Paola is a Director in PD’s Global Impact team, specialising in human-centred digital transformation, strategic capability building, and sustainable practices for global governments and institutions.
With deep experience driving digital and cultural change across the public and private sectors, Paola brings a delivery-focused mindset to complex challenges. This includes facilitating the What Works Cities certification programme, helping local governments use data scale to tackle challenges and improve residents’ lives.
Prior to joining PD, Paola led design culture and design strategy at Lloyds Banking Group, helping the Digital Transformation teams to 'Learn Rapidly What Matters'. Previously, she shaped the sustainable design thinking practices at bp, where she trained more than 300 multi-disciplinary teams. In addition to delivering end-to-end services for global entities like Santander and Telefónica, Paola has also delivered key digital solutions for the Peruvian government, including its first citizen service hub.
A certified coach, facilitator, and Product Manager, Paola holds a Fine Arts degree, a Master’s in Marketing, and advanced sustainability credentials from Cambridge University and the Royal College of Art. She co-founded the charity Discovering LatinAmerica in Spain and volunteered at the Design for Good Alliance for 3 years, to help achieve the Sustainability Development Goals.
