Linda is a Director at Public Digital, and a digital strategy, policy and strategic communications expert.

With 20 years’ experience working across central government and commercial sectors, she has advised senior executives, ministers and leaders across a range of organisations, bringing cross-sector expertise in digital transformation and open ecosystems.

Linda supports our work with the Cabinet Office on the Test, Learn and Grow programme, where we are empowering teams across the public sector to take a more outcome-focused, iterative approach to policy and service delivery. Linda holds accountability for the work of the partnership to support innovation accelerators working across the UK.

In our work with telecoms provider BT, Linda was part of a team helping to transform the company's approach to product development and delivery. This involved strengthening internal capabilities such as service ownership, and embedding new ways of working, including developing a digital knowledge hub to support BT's delivery teams.

Prior to joining Public Digital, Linda was Chief of Staff at Co-op Group, where she embedded a new team as part of its digital transformation, as well as heading up a cross-sector ecosystem of over 40 digital and social innovation organisations. Previously, she was senior technology adviser to the UK Government’s Chief Technology Officer in the Cabinet Office, where she devised the UK Government's Open Standards Principles.

Linda is board member for Open Data Manchester Community Interest Company. She is director and trustee of 360Giving, a charity supporting effective decision-making in the charitable giving and grantmaking sector, and a member of its data standard stewardship committee.
