Julia is a digital transformation director, supporting leaders to create the conditions for teams to do their best work and deliver great outcomes.

She has over 10 years’ experience working with and leading agile product teams across a range of organisations. These include Morgan Stanley, eBay, the UK’s Government Digital Service (GDS), and His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC).

At Public Digital, Julia has worked with clients including Canada’s British Columbia Energy Regulator, the UK Department for Business and Trade, the Local Government Association, and the Stroke Association.

Before her shift to working with digital product teams, Julia worked for several years in infrastructure operations. She has worked on legacy platforms and newer technologies, from small products (tens of users) with tens of users to platforms handling billions of requests per month, in small autonomous teams, large tightly coupled enterprises, and a range of organisations in between.

In her consultancy work, she has coached executives, leaders, and delivery teams, helping them turn strategies into action, supporting them through day-to-day challenges, and enabling their organisations to adopt and embed new ways of working — unlocking the potential of their technology teams.

Julia is also an occasional speaker at digital and technology leadership events.
