Emma is a senior leader with global, multi-sector experience spanning corporate strategy, digital transformation and communications. With a track record of impact across education, technology, telecoms and the public sector, she brings clarity and momentum to complex organisations undergoing change.

Prior to joining Public Digital, Emma worked as a consultant with Reset Tech and Iolite Consultants, supporting organisations tackling challenges in digital rights, workforce transformation and change management. She also served as Chief Strategy Officer at QA Higher Education, where she led strategy, communications, investor engagement and transformation programmes, including a major operating model redesign and cultural renewal across the organisation.

Emma spent four years at Nord Anglia Education, where she led the global rollout of a unified EdTech strategy across 30+ countries. As Director of Education Technology, she managed a multidisciplinary team of 50, secured over $20m in investor funding, and delivered innovation through a blend of new technologies, including AI, and new pedagogical approaches. Prior to that, she held senior communications and strategy roles at O2 (Telefonica UK), where she led internal and external communications and managed 24/7 media response during a high-stakes brand reputation period.

Her experience bridges digital product development, brand and messaging strategy, and people-centred change. She is known for her ability to operate at both detail and system levels – leading multi-functional teams, engaging executive stakeholders and delivering practical outcomes in high-pressure environments.

Emma holds a First Class LLB from the University of York and has taught and mentored leaders across sectors. She is a recipient of the Business Women in Education to Watch Award and is a certified CMI Associate with further qualifications in leadership, management and content marketing.
