Nicola Savage
Communications & Marketing Director
Nicky joined P.D. in November 2024, after a long career in corporate communications, encompassing public, private and charity sectors.
After training and working as a journalist, Nicky joined the Government Communications Network, and worked in press offices in the Department for International Development, Department of Trade and Industry, HM Treasury and the Department for Education and Skills. During this time, Nicky was seconded to the Commission for Africa, working alongside world leaders and Sir Bob Geldof, culminating in the publication of Our Common Interest - a comprehensive report aimed at supporting the continent in driving its own development.
After nearly a decade the civil service Nicky joined Thames Water as Media Relations Manager. Subsequent private sector roles included managing corporate communications functions at Veolia; Interserve and G4S, where she worked closely with clients including the Ministry of Justice and DWP.
Prior to joining PD, Nicky was Director of Communications and Marketing for several years at Wates Group, the family owned construction and property services company, and has also promoted the work of the London environmental charity, Pollinating London Together.
Nicky is a member of the Worshipful Company of Communicators and is a Freeman of the City of London.
