Although some of the failures are put down to cultural differences and language, there are similar stories from the states.

A stat that caught my eye in the China section: Alipay can be used to make a hospital appointment in 250+ cities, and for utility bills in 300+ cities. Just consider the scale of that.
Security researcher Troy Hunt is looking for a new owner for Have I Been Pwned. Currently run by Hunt alone it includes almost 8B records, used from commercial subscribers to individuals to governments.

You can train an AI to fake UN speeches in just 13 hours. There are some dark implications for this, but it does make me think we've lost the art of proper speechmaking if we're that predictable. |
