USA
We work with federal, state and city governments to embed best digital practice into the delivery of public services.
We're proud to announce our membership of the Digital Services Coalition (DSC), a community of technology and design firms with a mission to help transform US government digital services.
As the first organisation headquartered outside the US to be appointed to DSC, we join a growing community championing agile, outcomes-driven approaches, and committed to delivering high-quality digital services for the US government and its citizens.
PD’s founders were leading figures in the digital transformation of the UK Government during the 2010s, and our work with state and city governments around the world continues to inform our expertise in the design and delivery of public services.
Our work in the US has included supporting transformation and digital projects at the Internal Revenue Service, the state of California, New York City, and cities across the US as part of Bloomberg Philanthropies' City Data Alliance programme.
Our application to DSC was sponsored by CivicActions, a founding member and small business building accessible, outcomes-driven digital services for government.
Emma Gawen, Managing Director of Public Digital, said:
“At Public Digital we believe that digital development is best delivered through collaboration across borders, disciplines and society. Being part of DSC will enable us to draw on the collective experience of fellow public-purposed organizations, while sharing our own global experience of best practices within and beyond government. We’re grateful to CivicActions for sponsoring our application.
Traci Walker, Executive Director of DSC, said:
“During my time at USDS, I had the opportunity to collaborate with the UK’s Government Digital Service (GDS) to explore shared procurement and industry challenges in delivering digital services across government. With Public Digital now joining the Digital Services Coalition, I’m excited to reconnect on the industry side, working together once again to learn & share with DSC members what is working globally that can be applied to the American state, federal, and local government levels.”
