Bill is our Interim Chief Financial Officer, supporting Public Digital through the next phase of performance and growth. A strategic and commercial finance leader, he specialises in helping high-growth, people and technology-driven organisations navigate transformation, professionalisation, and international scaling.
At Public Digital, Bill leads the finance and bid operations teams, working closely with our CEO, Managing Director and Board to drive financial clarity, trading performance and operational discipline as the business grows globally. He focuses on translating strategy into execution — ensuring robust financial insight underpins decision-making and delivery.
Bill brings over 20 years’ international experience across technology, telecoms and professional services, spanning blue-chip multinationals as well as PE/VC-backed and privately-owned businesses. He has led finance and performance functions at organisations including Vodafone, Virgin Media, Carphone Warehouse, TalkTalk and Sky.
One of his standout career highlights was leading notonthehighstreet.com as CFO, bringing the business to first-time profitability ahead of its eventual sale in 2021.
Originally from New Zealand, Bill has been based in London for over 16 years. He is a CAANZ-qualified Chartered Accountant with degrees in Mathematics and Accounting & Finance from the University of Auckland.
