Tim is the Chair of Public Digital.

After launching his own publishing business, Media Week, when he was in his 20s, Tim Brooks built a career managing famous media brands, ranging from The Guardian to the British Medical Journal and the New Musical Express.

Tim has chaired businesses in digital training, health information, and rights management, as well as the News Media Association and the Advisory Council of the British Library. He is a non-executive director of the global sustainability organisation Sedex; and a listening volunteer at Samaritans, where he also sits on the charity’s Audit & Risk Committee. He was twice a Visiting Fellow in Strategy and Entrepreneurship at the London Business School.
